| A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband Rob and I live in Western Washington on the Kitsap Peninsula. We moved to this area in 2004. I am a former veterinary technician of 12 years and my husband is a MMCS in the US Navy. My dreams came true in 1998 when I purchased my first Great Dane. I have been in awe of this breed since I was a little girl. We will always have a Dane in our family. I am hooked on there loyalty, gentleness, and there willingness to please. Not to mention their size. The priorities with our Danes, both breeding and purchasing, is HEALTH, TEMPERAMENT, and CONFORMATION. Over the years we have had a rocky road but feel we are finally on the right path with our Danes and our future breeding program. We also believe in limited vaccine protocal. We believe in and follow the Great Dane Code of Ethics put forth by the Great Dane Club of America. Great Danes who have been or still are near and dear to our hearts: Our first Great Dane, Brooklyn, was purchased from Wendy Alleshouse of Alledane in Ohio. She is a dark brindle who has been a wonderful healthy girl. We have had other Danes: Rocky-fawn male who died at a very young age due to major health issues. Darlington-Beautiful black bitch from blue/black breeding purchased from a breeder in Indiana. She was returned to the breeder who was also co-owner due to numerous reasons. Rex-He was adopted at 2 years of age from a humane society in Georgia. Charlotte-Natural fawn bitch who has been everything we dreamed of in a future Champion and foundation! Thank you Corey and Jason of Danosaur Danes. Thank you for allowing us to bring this beautiful fawn girl home. CHASE - Brindle boy from Derby Danes in Kentucky! Futurity nominated. Thank you Brenda for allowing Chase to come live with us. He is co-owned with Brenda. Our Newest addition is Camber, our beautiful fawn girl from Charlotte's litter..... She and a few of her littermates are our future stars! The Naming of our Kennel and Pets: We also love Nascar. So we decided to combine the two - Danes and racing. We came up with the kennel name Winners Circle Kennel, AKA WCKdanes, for that reason. Most of our pets are named after different things in racing. Each pets page has an explanation of there names. Even tho we have Kennel as part of our name, we don't kennel our dogs. They are all house dogs. I want to show my appreciation to those of you who have showed me the ropes with entering the sport of dogs and teaching me more about this wonderful breed. The learning NEVER stops.
